  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in technical accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Proven experience managing complex accounting issues and providing technical guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills; experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support for complex transactions including revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity, and other arrangements
  • Monitor and interpret new accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the company's financial statements and operations
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to mitigate risk and ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the team’s goals and objectives
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business decision-making and accounting policies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to financial reporting and accounting
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization through effective risk management practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to proactively address emerging accounting issues
