Requirements
  • 7+ years in agency art direction, with beauty experience required; adjacent industries (fashion, lifestyle, luxury) a plus
  • A portfolio of high-craft, culturally fluent work that’s lived across all major channels
  • Proven ability to create big ideas that adapt into platform-specific executions without losing impact
  • Strong verbal presentation skills and a confident, strategic point of view
  • Highly collaborative, resourceful, and energized by fast-moving, lean teams
  • Must be based in New York City or New Jersey and have the right to work in the United States
Responsibilities
  • Lead visual development from brainstorm to final execution for campaigns that live across every touchpoint
  • Ideate campaign extensions that are inherently shareable and tailor creative for each platform’s nuances while maintaining brand cohesion
  • Partner with copywriters, designers, and marketing to ensure visuals and messaging work as one unified idea
  • Create mood boards, storyboards, and art direction guides that inspire internal teams and external partners
  • Guide designers and vendors through final production, ensuring every asset meets the highest level of craft
  • Ensure visual direction translates seamlessly during shoots—both photo and video
  • Keep the brand ahead of beauty, fashion, and cultural trends and identify opportunities for visual innovation
  • Work with the social and content teams to ensure campaign shoots produce a diverse library of content for ongoing use
