Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate by email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, as well as Adobe Acrobat and related tools and technology.
  • Radiological Worker qualifications, or prior qualifications with the ability to obtain current qualifications.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • A high school diploma and twenty years of experience in Tank Farms Operations, technical project management, or other related practical experience.
  • Practical experience developing and executing facility schedules.
  • Practical experience with work control processes, including the development, review, approval, issuance, execution, and closeout of work control packages and associated lockouts.
  • Ability to solve problems and identify options for completing assigned tasks.
  • Understanding of work hazards, safety programs, business concepts, Department of Energy Orders, regulations, and contract scope.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Asset Suite.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Eligibility for a Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as an Employment Authorization, from the U.S. Government's designated Security Office.
  • Ability to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or Department of Energy Q clearance.
  • Ability to work a scheduled forty-hour week and comply with assigned work schedules.
  • Ability to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement if required.
Responsibilities
  • Guide teams through complex analyses involving numerous engineering disciplines and develop alternative action strategies and plans to meet or exceed defined milestones.
  • Communicate concise and accurate oral and written presentations to internal and external customers regarding project implementation plans, status, changes, and new approaches, including complex technical, organizational, and financial issues.
  • Provide technical operations management expertise to assigned project management teams, peers, senior management, and external customers.
  • Develop required reports, including recommendations for baseline changes for manager approval.
  • Perform duties as a Project Manager supporting Tank Farms Operations within the Integration organization at the Savannah River Site.
  • Establish, manage, pursue, and fulfill annual goals and objectives.
  • Support business development and other efforts on behalf of the company.
  • Travel occasionally for meetings, events, site visits, or training when required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Department of Energy, Savannah River Remediation, and Savannah River Site operating policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to obtain an L clearance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies.
