Responsibilities
  • Adopt engineering best practices for architecture and technology choices.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, guide technical design and architecture discussions, and identify design-pattern needs.
  • Execute the integration of artificial intelligence across the product suite, including generative artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
  • Design, code, and maintain software solutions through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Create test scenarios and design, develop, and execute the corresponding automated tests.
  • Use cloud infrastructure from providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including product management and architecture.
  • Use code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability, and to create mentoring opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through engineering excellence, root-cause analysis, and feedback loops that improve code quality, team productivity, and system reliability.
  • Lead technical initiatives such as technology migrations and system performance and security improvements using an Agile approach.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with React.js.
  • Two to three years of mentoring and coaching engineers in a leadership role.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence or machine learning initiatives, or certifications in artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
  • Experience designing and delivering artificial intelligence solutions, especially generative artificial intelligence and large language models, using modern software engineering practices and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Snyk.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills across time zones.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.
