The Per Diem Staffer will cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals interested in local per diem nursing shifts. The employee will be responsible for scheduling and filling daily per-diem shift needs from local hospitals and clients as needed. 

The schedule of this position is Saturday-Monday, 8am - 9pm PST.

Responsibilities: 

• Contact clinicians via phone, email and text in order to help them sign up for local per diem shifts (identify/call facilities when any cancellations occur)
• Serve as the main point of contact for East Coast facilities and clinicians who require assistance
• Collaborate with internal departments to verify clinicians are cleared to pick up shifts
• Verify, update, and add any first shifts into Aya’s database
• Reconfirm shifts with each facility during designated hours (shifts start at different times throughout the day/night, and final confirmations are sent 2 hours prior to the start of each shift)
• Document and relay pertinent information to staffers for next-day coverage
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Thrives in a team setting 
• Possess a detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook 
• Flexible with shifting priorities and processes 
• Strong written and verbal communication

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $28.85 - $30.77 hourly.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
