Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and improve software using engineering methodologies.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions using programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
  • Implement unit testing practices to ensure code design, readability, and reliability.
  • Perform assigned activities in a timely and consistently high-quality manner.
  • Partner with other functions and business areas.
  • Escalate policy or procedure breaches appropriately.
  • Embed new policies and procedures adopted for risk mitigation.
  • Advise and influence decision-making within the area of expertise.
  • Manage risk and strengthen controls related to owned or contributed work.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on factual information and attention to detail.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions using acquired technical experience.
  • Communicate complex or sensitive information to team members and stakeholders.

Anthropic secures $15B credit facility, expects $65B revenue ahead of IPO

Anthropic, the developer behind Claude AI chatbot, has secured a $15 billion credit facility ahead of its initial public offering. Major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup are backing the arrangement. The facility significantly exceeds last year's $2.5 billion loan and surpasses the company's roughly $10 billion target. Anthropic now expects over $65 billion in annualised revenue, representing more than a sevenfold increase from its pace at the end of last year. Additional banks including Barclays and Bank of America have joined the arrangement. The timing coincides with renewed activity in the US IPO market, positioning Anthropic for a substantial market debut.

Caterpillar secures new 364-day revolving credit facility with Citibank as agent

Caterpillar Inc. has entered into a new 364-day revolving credit facility dated 27 August 2026, according to an SEC filing. The agreement includes Caterpillar Inc. and several of its financial subsidiaries as borrowers, with Citibank serving as agent. Citibank, BofA Securities, JPMorgan Chase Bank, J.P. Morgan SE, Barclays Bank, MUFG Bank and Société Générale are joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners on the facility. The agreement provides for revolving credit advances, local currency advances, Japan local currency advances and term loan advances. It includes financial covenants applicable to Caterpillar and Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. The facility replaces a prior credit agreement and includes a guaranty from Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation.

AstraZeneca prices $2.9B bond offering across four tranches to fund corporate purposes

AstraZeneca's wholly owned subsidiary, AstraZeneca Finance LLC, has priced a €2.55 billion Eurobond offering across four tranches. The offering, which priced on 24 August 2026 and is expected to close on 1 September, includes €700 million in notes maturing in 2030, €600 million maturing in 2032, €500 million maturing in 2035, and €750 million maturing in 2038. The notes carry coupons ranging from 3.402% to 4.169% and are fully guaranteed by AstraZeneca. The company will use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes. Barclays, Goldman Sachs International, and Morgan Stanley served as joint book-running managers. The notes will be listed on the Financial Conduct Authority's Official List and traded on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market.

Thales issues $1.1B bond to finance Exail acquisition

Thales has issued a €1 billion bond in two tranches to finance its acquisition of Exail, announced on 6 July 2026. The bond consists of a €500 million tranche with a four-year term at a 3.50% fixed rate, and another €500 million tranche with an eight-year term at a 3.75% fixed rate. The issuance attracted strong investor demand and was oversubscribed by a diversified investor base. The offering reflects market confidence in Thales's credit quality, rated A2 by Moody's and A- by S&P Global Ratings, both with stable outlooks.
