Requirements
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- The candidate must hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
Responsibilities
- Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Northside Hospital.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
Desired Qualifications
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or another clinical specialty certification, may be preferred for specific units.
- Visual color acuity may be preferred depending on the role in specific units.
