Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable Writer/Editor responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and related tools and technology.
  • A BA/BS degree is required for the Writer/Editor position.
  • At least five years of experience providing Writer/Editor services in structured environments, specifically related to Transition and Economic Development and strategic support for government policy and operational programmatic efforts concerning the transition of service members from military service to civilian life.
  • Ability to produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria.
  • Ability to perform duties competently and professionally while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
  • United States citizenship is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Eligibility for a U.S. government Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as Employment Authorization.
  • Ability to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or Department of Energy Q clearance.
  • Ability to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement if required.
Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and review materials such as reports, regulations, articles, newsletters, magazines, news releases, training materials, brochures, interpretive handbooks, pamphlets, guidebooks, scholarly works, reference works, speeches, and scripts.
  • Write, edit, and review training materials for courses, user guidebooks, briefing packages, workbooks, and study reports.
  • Support Technical General Support Services requirements related to environmental consulting, scientific and technical consulting services for energy, and professional scientific and technical consulting services.
  • Support Veterans Benefits Administration Transition and Economic Development requirements and strategic support for civilian readiness, VA benefits access, partner-resource access, economic empowerment, and well-being.
  • Attend meetings, events, site visits, or training activities when occasional travel is required.
  • Support business development and other efforts on behalf of ProSidian Consulting.
  • Establish, manage, pursue, and fulfill annual goals and objectives aligned with ProSidian's global competencies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies as necessary.
