Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Possess visual color acuity when required for the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
Desired Qualifications
- Possess an additional life-support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or other clinical specialty certifications, when preferred for specific units.
