Requirements
  • A bachelor's or graduate degree level is required.
  • A major in actuarial science, insurance, mathematics, or statistics is required.
  • Proficiency with common office software is required.
  • A good foundation in spoken and written English is required.
  • The internship requires at least four days per week.
Responsibilities
  • Perform sample checks of actuarial valuation models, including models for U.S. accounting standards, Chinese accounting standards, and China Risk-Oriented Solvency System standards.
  • Build and maintain actuarial valuation models, including setting up new products and updating assumptions for existing products.
  • Provide support for monthly closing and reinsurance billing analysis.
  • Support other actuarial valuation projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL and VBA is preferred.
  • Passing some actuarial examinations is preferred.
  • An internship period of six months or longer is preferred.
