Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it within three weeks of the start date.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, Google Suite, data collection, and analytical reporting is required.
  • Three to four years of experience conducting one-to-one work with clients in school-based or home-based settings and addressing challenging behaviors is required.
  • Three to four years of experience working with children or adults between ages three and eighteen is required.
  • Three to four years of experience in case management and behavioral plans is required.
  • Three to four years of direct professional Applied Behavior Analysis experience is required.
  • Knowledge of addressing challenging behaviors or stereotypies in children or adults with autism is required.
  • The role requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force, lifting as needed, climbing flights of stairs, and performing other physical tasks as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and timely arrival to sessions are required.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and collaborate with team members, parents, and other professionals is required.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines is required.
Responsibilities
  • Work one-to-one with clients in home-based and clinic-based settings.
  • Follow and implement treatment plans established by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Supervisor and prepare program materials, including protocols for toilet training, communication, social skills, and adaptive living skills.
  • Maintain open communication with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Supervisor to review each client's program goals and procedures.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data and notes using data collection software.
  • Review and implement recommendations from consultation and supervision notes.
  • Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and required meetings.
  • Assist with parent training and clinical assessments as needed.
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families as needed.
  • Track supervision hours and renew the Registered Behavior Technician certification annually as required by the regulatory body.
  • Work ethically and with integrity while following the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Ethical Code.
  • Understand and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act policies and the company's policies and procedures.
  • Follow time and attendance policies and maintain regular, reliable attendance and punctuality to provide consistent patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Complete the assigned Registered Behavior Technician training and speak with management if additional time is needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with CentralReach Applied Behavior Analysis software is a plus.
