Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 6+ years of equivalent experience in related disciplines.
- At least 6 years of experience with Java/J2EE and related technologies.
- Core Java/J2EE development experience.
- Thorough object-oriented analysis and design in Java.
- Strong MySQL development skills; administration skills are a bonus.
- Strong understanding of web service development using SOAP, RESTful services, JSON, and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Java Persistence API.
- Experience with enterprise service bus development, preferably MuleSoft.
- Understanding of application servers including JBoss and Apache Tomcat.
- Comfortable working on Linux, including CentOS and Red Hat.
- Experience with Subversion and Git.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Strong background in object-oriented architectures and development.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Demonstrated technical capabilities and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of developing trends and emerging standards in relevant fields.
- Strong communication skills for working with third parties.
