Blue Origin focuses on making space travel accessible through commercial spaceflight, primarily offering suborbital space tourism experiences. The company uses its reusable rocket, New Shepard, to take passengers to the edge of space for about 11 minutes, allowing them to experience weightlessness and view Earth from above 100 kilometers. Unlike many competitors, Blue Origin emphasizes the exclusivity of its flights, targeting affluent individuals and space enthusiasts willing to pay a premium for this unique experience. In addition to space tourism, Blue Origin develops advanced rocket engines and technologies, which can be sold or leased to other aerospace entities. The company's goal is to lead in the emerging space tourism market while exploring new opportunities in space exploration technologies.
