Requirements
  • You have a broad knowledge and proven track record of sales success in the mutual fund business and retirement plan sales, and the demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
  • You know how to leverage technological resources to create custom analysis.
  • You are an excellent communicator and have significant sales experience in the registered investment advisor space.
  • You’re well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner.
  • You have a series 7, 63, and 66 licenses or equivalent, as well as one or more of the following designations AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, and CFA.
Responsibilities
  • lead sales initiatives in the Retirement Plan Sales market, identifying firm and firm representatives’ needs and coordinating efforts to serve those needs.
  • partner with Wealth Management Wholesalers to manage Capital Client Group (American Funds Distributions) presence, relationships, and drive business results with key brokerage firm representatives.
  • apply a consultative skillset to sell through financial intermediaries and work collaboratively with other senior sales force members to identify opportunities for better Plan Sponsor and investor outcomes.
