Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities
  • Analyzes workforce impacts and development opportunities driven by market and regulatory changes.
  • Align with Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Functional Area initiatives as a Workforce Development Analyst and analyze labor and workforce trends, assess gaps in training programs, and support initiatives for workforce transition in the energy sector.
  • Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting and Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis and Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Develop analyses, support initiatives, and ensure alignment with project objectives for energy market economic and regulatory analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on energy markets, economic impacts, and regulatory strategies.

  • Expertise in energy, policy, and technical consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience (as a baseline for desirability).
  • Analytical thinking and proficiency in data analysis tools; strong communication abilities; subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains.
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools; leadership and interpersonal skills; time management and prioritization; adaptability; attention to detail; organizational and analytical skills; strong written and oral communication.
