- The Electrical Engineer Intern assists the department with projects involving the design, development, testing, and implementation of product components.
- The intern assists in planning and performing design development tasks from concept through implementation.
- The intern studies and evaluates disciplinary or interdisciplinary aspects of new product or design concepts.
- The intern assists with planning and testing necessary to assure adequate performance of designs at all stages of design and development and across varying levels of complexity.
- The intern completes documentation of performed tasks, including descriptions, specifications, testing, and implementation.

The partnership will integrate Takara Bio's SMART-Seq library preparation kits with Hamilton's Microlab STAR Liquid Handling Systems.
