Electrical Engineering Intern

- Must have demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Able to interpret data, generate graphs, and visually communicate test results.
- Understanding of basic programming logic and electrical circuit principles.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with other departments and company personnel in a service function.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be able to work part-time, approximately 20 hours Monday through Friday; Hamilton will adjust working hours to accommodate the academic schedule. During summer break, the role is expected to work 40 hours per week.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, Engineering program at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- Assist the department with projects, including designing, developing, testing, and implementing product components.
- Assist in planning and performing design development tasks from concept to implementation.
- Study and evaluate disciplinary or interdisciplinary aspects of new product or design concepts.
- Assist with planning and testing to assure adequate performance of designs for all stages of design and development, regardless of complexity.
- Complete adequate documentation of tasks, including descriptions, specifications, testing, and implementation.
