Responsibilities

Sentinel is seeking internship candidates looking to gain hands on experience working with our Microsoft focused project team. You will spend your summer working with Sentinel’s top engineers shadowing and training to build your skills and technical competencies with all things Microsoft. You will have the opportunity to learn some of the most innovative technologies involving Microsoft and their Azure cloud product, M365 and PowerShell. This internship program is designed to take your knowledge from classroom knowledge and skills into hands on practical implementation. At the end of the internship you will be reviewed by our internal hiring managers for an opportunity to receive a job offer for future employment. This position is onsite in Downers Grove, IL.

Qualifications

Minimum of a junior in college or higher working towards a Bachelor’s degree
Major in a Computer Science/IT degree or related field
Holding any of the following certifications would be nice to have AZ-900, MS-900, AI-900 and/or SC-900
Hands on experience in AI tools, cloud, data center is preferred.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with our internal teams and our clients.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:

$23.00 an hour

Stream Realty Partners negotiates 63,409-square-foot office lease in Lisle. October 7, 2026 Stream Realty Partners represented Sentinel Technologies in a 63,409-square-foot full-building lease at Corporetum Office Campus X at 410 Warrenville Road in Lisle, Illinois. Sentinel will occupy the entire four-story building for its headquarters, housing its office, research and development, and technology lab functions under one roof. The company is expected to relocate in the first quarter of 2027 from its current headquarters in Downers Grove, approximately one mile away. The move marks Sentinel's first headquarters relocation in more than 30 years. Stream Managing Directors Jordan Decker and Brian Duffy represented Sentinel in the transaction. David Florent and Brent Jacob of Colliers represented the landlord, Napleton Automotive Group. Located in Chicago's East/West Corridor along Interstate 88, Corporetum Office Campus X provides prominent visibility and signage opportunities. As part of the new lease, the building will undergo significant capital improvements to support Sentinel's operations and long-term occupancy.

Sentinel Technologies has acquired High Performance Technologies (HPT), a Southeastern-based IT solutions provider, to expand its service offerings and geographic reach. The acquisition combines Sentinel's scale and resources with HPT's technical expertise and agile delivery model. HPT, founded in 2002, specialises in customised IT lifecycle solutions across traditional, emerging and cloud technologies. The company's team will continue serving existing markets whilst gaining access to Sentinel's broader portfolio and next-generation technologies. Founded in 1982, Sentinel Technologies provides business technology services, cybersecurity and IT support. The acquisition advances Sentinel's growth strategy whilst maintaining both companies' customer-first approach. Financial terms were not disclosed.
