Synack integrates with Wiz to unify pentest findings alongside cloud security data.

Synack integrates with Wiz to unify pentest findings alongside cloud security data. The integration exports vulnerabilities discovered through the Synack PTaaS Platform into Wiz, giving security teams a single source of truth to track findings. September 23, 2026 08:00 ET | Source: Synack REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Synack, the AI + human penetration testing platform for continuous security validation, today announced an integration with Wiz. The integration exports vulnerabilities discovered through the Synack Platform directly into Wiz's Penetration Test Findings view, which is part of Wiz's Unified Vulnerability Management. The integration lets Synack customers connect their Synack and Wiz environments and filter vulnerability findings by severity or tag, on a one-time or recurring daily basis. Each finding carries full context, including CWE classification, status, and first-seen and last-updated timestamps. Once connected, Synack's findings appear alongside vulnerabilities from bug bounty programs, third-party audits, internal red team exercises, and Wiz's own Red Agent and AI-driven pentest scanning in a single Penetration Test Findings view inside Wiz. This gives security teams one place to track, prioritize and remediate results, regardless of where they originated. For teams already using Wiz to manage cloud risk, the integration removes a manual step in tracking penetration test results. Because Synack supports daily exports, vulnerability findings stay current in Wiz rather than reflecting a single point-in-time snapshot. "Security teams are drowning in tools that each show a different slice of risk," said Angela Heindl-Schober, Chief Marketing Officer at Synack. "Bringing Synack's findings into Wiz provides teams a central platform to see what's been tested and validated." Synack pairs Sara AI Pentesting with the Synack Red Team, a vetted global community of security researchers, to continuously test environments and validate exploitable risk. The Wiz integration extends that data into the tools security teams already rely on for cloud risk management, supporting a continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) approach where validation feeds into discovery, prioritization and remediation. About Synack Synack is the AI + human penetration testing platform for continuous security validation. Sara AI Pentesting combines agentic AI with the Synack Red Team, a rigorously vetted global community of security researchers, to expand testing coverage and prove real-world exploitability. The Synack Platform gives organizations control and visibility across testing activity, validated findings and remediation status. Synack supports point-in-time and continuous penetration testing across web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud and host infrastructure, internal environments and AI or LLM systems. Founded by former NSA operatives, Synack has enabled nearly 10 million hours of security testing to protect critical assets across enterprise, public-sector and highly regulated environments. Andreessen Horowitz ramps up Israel activity.

Andreessen Horowitz ramps up Israel activity. Marc Andreessen, Asaf Ezra, Yoav Winer credit: Reuters-Beck Diefenbach, PR, Eyal Izhar 7 Sep, 2026 13:06 Since leading Wiz's last round before it was sold, the US firm has taken steps to ensure it will catch future Israeli unicorns at earlier stages. Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), one of the world's largest venture capital firms, has significantly stepped up its activity in Israel in the past six months, particularly after the completion of the Google's $32 billion acquisition of Israeli cybersecurity company Wiz. The firm has some $100 billion under management, and was one of the first investors in Instagram, SpaceX, Facebook, OpenAI and Airbnb. "Globes" has learned that it has moved up a gear in Israel by recruiting several key people in the country and outside of it. The firm has brought in Granulate co-founder Asaf Ezra as a partner responsible for investment in young companies in cybersecurity and AI infrastructure, and it has doubled its local scouting network for identifying early-stage companies. Andreessen Horowitz led the last funding round by Wiz before it was sold, amounting to $1 billion at a valuation of $12 billion, and subsequently sold its stake in the company for a return of between 2.5 and 3 times its investment. Smaller venture capital firms, such as Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Sequoia Capital, invested in Wiz at earlier stages and made larger gains. It may be that Andreessen Horowitz, which has had fairly minor activity in Israel so far in comparison with other major US firms, wants to make sure that promising younger Israeli companies will not escape the notice of its partners. Ezra, who lives in New York, is the first Israeli to be appointed a partner at Andreessen Horowitz. In 2018, he founded Granulate, developer of a system that facilitates control over development processes on the cloud and in the past was ranked in "Globes'" list of Most Promising Startups. In March 2022, Ezra sold Ganulate, of which he was CEO, to Intel for $650 million, in one of the biggest exits in Israel that year. Intel struggled to integrate Ganulate, and as its management crisis grew, it looked for a buyer for the company. When it failed to find one, the company shut down. Despite this, Ezra and his former partner Tal Sayag are remembered in the technology industry as people who made an exit at large multiples just before interest rates in the US began to rise and sources of finance for the industry began to dry up. Ezra moved to New York late last year. In the past eighteen months he has maintained contact with one of the senior partners at Andreessen Horowitz, Zane Lackey, another serial entrepreneur, who founded and sold Signal Sciences before joining the firm. The two men decided to explore possible collaboration, which in the end led to Ezra's appointment as a partner in May. Ezra currently manages investment in young startup companies in cybersecurity, data infrastructure, and artificial intelligence, at the initial "seed" stage, and in the A and B rounds held at early stages, sometimes up to the start of sales. Ezra can also invest in companies unconnected to Israel, but he is expected to exploit his network of connections from his time in the IDF Talpiot program, in technology units in the army, and at Intel, to make most of his investments in Israeli companies and in companies with Israeli founders. Not to miss out on potential Besides the appointment of Ezra, Andreessen Horowitz has taken another strategic step, doubling its local scouting team. This network comprises serial entrepreneurs or former entrepreneurs, and angel investors, among them well-known names in the local industry such as Yoav Wilner, co-founder and CEO of Walnut; Yochay Ettun, co-founder and former CEO of cnvrg.io, which was sold to Intel; Guy Zipori, formerly vice president of R&D at Melio; and Michael (Mikey) Weiss, who has held CFO positions at startup companies. An intriguing recent appointment as a scout by Andreessen Horowitz is that of Noa Zilberman, co-founder of Odo Security (sold to Check Point), who is prominent on social media. Besides these, four other scouts operate below the radar without mentioning it on their professional profits on social media. Some of them have been active for over a year. Compared with the scouting activity of other venture capital firms, this is a large and senior group. By this means, Andreessen Horowitz seeks to ensure that it will not miss out on companies with the potential of becoming unicorns. While Ezra will invest millions of dollars in a small number of companies and bring them the benefit of the firm's marketing and operating capabilities, the scouts are fairly free to invest small amounts, generally in the tens of thousands of dollars, in a company in exchange for a small stake. Yoav Wilner, who has himself made several angel investments in companies such as Talon and NewCore, was appointed a scout by Andreessen Horowitz in May. "We're looking for companies in growing fields such as data infrastructure and artificial intelligence, and we make small investments in a way that is reminiscent of angel investment," he says. Learning lessons Andreessen Horowitz is a latecomer to the Israeli market. Smaller firms such as Insight Partners, Sequoia, Greylock, and Lightspeed have each invested in dozens of Israeli companies, including at the seed stage, and have made handsome returns on their money. Like many of these firms, Andreessen Horowitz has no physical presence in Israel, but works through partners based in the US or elsewhere. The firm maintains a new investment strategy that takes into account the required investment in purchasing graphics processors. Besides the investment in Wiz, it is invested in unicorns with looser connections to Israel, such as Deel, which was founded by US-Israeli entrepreneur Alex Bouaziz and has a development center in Israel, and in WeWork founder Adam Neumann's real estate company Flow. The firm is invested in several fairly young Israeli companies such as Neo Security, Limy, Pinecone and Argu AI. No response was forthcoming from Andreessen Horowitz or Asaf Ezra. JFrog partners with Wiz to close the gap on AI-Era threats, keeping global businesses secure.

JFrog partners with Wiz to close the gap on AI-Era threats, keeping global businesses secure. The leader in software supply chain security collaborates with the leading cloud and AI security platform to deliver a single source of truth from code to cloud to runtime - giving teams the visibility and speed to remediate threats before attackers exploit them. Sep 2, 2026 Prev Next 1 of 43,568 JFrog Ltd, creators of the JFrog Software Supply Chain Platform, the system of record for trusted software artifacts, binaries, and AI assets, announced a new integration with Wiz, now part of Google Cloud, that closes a critical gap in AI-Era security: shrinking the time between risk detection and verified code fixes. The JFrog Platform serves as the single source of truth for all software artifacts - from build to production - while the Wiz cloud and AI security platform adds instant cloud runtime visibility. Together, the integration enables security and engineering teams with a unified view of what's running, where it came from, whether it's trusted, and how to fix it - enabling teams to keep pace with frontier AI models that move faster than most organizations can respond. "Our partnership and integration with Wiz closes the visibility gap by delivering a unified view from build to production - so teams can move from detection to remediation in hours vs. days." - Gal Marder, Chief Strategy Officer, JFrog. "Today's enterprise security teams are caught between two sources of information: AppSec teams see what was built but lose visibility once software ships. Cloud security teams see what is running but lack the supply chain context to understand the real risks," said Gal Marder, Chief Strategy Officer, JFrog. "Our partnership and integration with Wiz solves this by delivering a unified view from build to production - so teams can move from detection to remediation in hours vs. days." In the Frontier AI era, the threat landscape has shifted fundamentally. Attackers now weaponize vulnerabilities faster than defenders can respond - the median time to exploit is now under a day, according to recent Forrester research. Yet Mean Time to Remediate (MTTR) - already a critical metric - has become even more consequential. Previously, teams measured remediation in days; now, the difference between hours and days can determine whether an organization is breached. The bottleneck is no longer detection - it is manual investigation. AppSec teams see what was built and scanned; cloud security teams see what is running. That visibility gap forces teams to manually stitch together context across disconnected tools, turning threat response into a weeks-long investigation rather than a hours-long fix. The JFrog-Wiz integration is designed to close this gap by connecting both halves of the picture in real time. The integration operates through an API-based data workflow. Wiz identifies vulnerable and exposed workloads across cloud environments and JFrog traces each workload back to its source artifact in JFrog Artifactory, enriches it with JFrog Advanced Security vulnerability findings, Contextual Analysis, and AppTrust provenance data. Together, security teams get a unified view and full control: what's running, where it came from, whether it's trusted, and how to fix it - without building custom dashboards or manual correlation. The result: teams spend less time reconstructing context and more time remediating. The JFrog integration with Wiz delivers: * Faster risk-to-fix motion: What previously took days of manual investigation now takes hours. Security teams see Wiz findings and JFrog supply chain context in one unified view on the Wiz Security Graph with no manual correlation required. * Continuous compliance instead of periodic audits: JFrog AppTrust cryptographic verification confirms every running workload matches what was signed and approved. This creates an environment for continuous compliance validation rather than snapshot-based periodic assessments. * Ownership clarity and automatic routing: Every artifact carries the team, build pipeline, and individual who promoted it. When a threat is identified, ownership routes automatically - no time wasted chasing down who owns the fix. * Automatic detection of untrusted deployments: Untrusted images running from unapproved registries are flagged automatically. Remediation paths trace directly to the build pipeline, with fix availability confirmed against existing Artifactory artifacts. * Zero-friction integration: Based on an API connection, the integration requires no new agents, no cluster instrumentation, and no elevated cloud permissions. Customers running both JFrog Advanced Security and Wiz can operationalize this integration in just minutes. "We're happy to collaborate with JFrog to bring cloud runtime visibility and software supply chain context together in one unified view," said Oron Noah, VP of Product, Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz. "This integration helps customers spend less time on manual correlation and more time remediating risk."

EPAM partners with Wiz to help enterprises reduce cloud risk and strengthen cyber resilience.

EPAM partners with Wiz to help enterprises reduce cloud risk and strengthen cyber resilience. Aug 25, 2026, 08:02 ET The partnership combines Wiz's production-grade cloud and AI security platform with EPAM's AI-native engineering and modernization capabilities to help organizations move from risk visibility to remediation across complex multi-cloud environments. NEWTOWN, Pa., Aug. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM) today announced a collaboration with Wiz, a cloud and AI security leader that is now part of Google Cloud. EPAM joined the Wiz Partner Alliance to help organizations turn cloud risk intelligence into continuous, AI-powered and engineering-led remediation across complex multi-cloud environments. The partnership brings together Wiz's AI Application Protection Platform (AI-APP) with EPAM's AI-native engineering and cloud modernization capabilities. Together, Wiz's context-based risk intelligence and EPAM's engineering expertise will help organizations identify, prioritize and address critical risks across applications, infrastructure and operating environments, moving beyond risk detection to address root causes at enterprise scale. "Cloud security does not end with identifying risk, as organizations need the engineering capability to act on that intelligence across complex applications and infrastructure," said Alexandros Katsioulis, Head of Alphabet Business and Google Global Business Group, EPAM. "By combining Wiz's contextual risk intelligence with EPAM's engineering and modernization expertise, we help clients address root causes, strengthen operational resilience and move forward with cloud and AI transformation more confidently." Powered by the Wiz Security Graph, Wiz AI-APP provides a contextualized view of cloud assets, configurations, relationships and attack paths across code, cloud, runtime, AI applications, SaaS and custom-hosted environments. EPAM applies that intelligence within broader cloud modernization and security programs to help organizations operationalize a full cloud security loop across Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure and other cloud environments. The collaboration formalizes work already underway in the market, with EPAM delivering Wiz implementation programs for enterprise organizations across a range of industry verticals, including media and entertainment, transportation and logistics, life sciences and healthcare, financial services, automotive and retail and consumer goods. The expanded relationship as part of the Wiz Partner Alliance will bring that delivery experience across to a broader set of cloud transformation and security initiatives. "With cloud and AI driving the next wave of enterprise innovation, Wiz is dedicated to helping organizations build fast without compromising security," said Nick Ross, VP of EMEA & LATAM Channels & Alliances at Wiz. "EPAM brings valuable expertise to the Wiz Partner Alliance, and together, we'll help ensure our customers can scale securely in the cloud." As part of this approach, EPAM will leverage findings from the Wiz platform to inform application modernization, cloud architecture and remediation work. White Hat, an EPAM company, will add an offensive-security layer with defensive, offensive and incident response experts to assess whether identified weaknesses can be exploited, helping clients distinguish potential exposure from actual risks that require immediate engineering action. "Security should not be measured by the number of vulnerabilities found. It should be measured by the reduction of exploitable risk," said Eugene Dzihanau, Head of Cybersecurity Practice, EPAM. "Wiz provides the system of record for security risk and EPAM provides the operating model that continuously drives that risk down. Together, we help clients move from visibility to remediation and from remediation to sustained cyber resilience." Additionally, Wiz's AI agents extend the platform's established cloud security capabilities with an automated workflow layer that helps organizations accelerate key stages of the security lifecycle: * Red Agent helps validate potentially exploitable paths across the external attack surface. * Green Agent supports root-cause remediation. * Blue Agent helps investigate runtime threats and assess potential impact. Alongside implementing Wiz internally, EPAM will integrate these capabilities into broader engineering and modernization programs, helping organizations move more efficiently from risk evidence to corrective action. "Identifying a vulnerability is not the same as proving that it can be exploited or containing an attack once someone has already exploited the vulnerability," said Aviv Srour, Head of Cyber Innovation, EPAM. "Wiz Red Agent brings an attacker's view of the external attack surface, while EPAM and White Hat bring the red team and incident response depth to validate it against real adversary tactics, techniques and procedures and strengthen cyber resilience for clients." About EPAM Systems, Inc. EPAM (NYSE:EPAM) is a global leader in AI transformation engineering and integrated consulting, serving Forbes Global 2000 companies and ambitious startups.
