Senior Hyperion Consultant

The Senior Hyperion Consultant is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of Oracle Hyperion solutions for enterprise performance management. This role involves working closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• System Implementation & Configuration
  • Lead installation, configuration, and upgrades of Hyperion systems (Essbase, Planning, HFM).
  • Design and implement Hyperion Planning applications tailored to client needs.
  • Manage metadata and dimensional structures within EPMA.
• Infrastructure & Performance Management
  • Monitor and maintain Hyperion infrastructure for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability.
  • Optimize Essbase cube performance and reporting attributes.
• Business Process Analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Support financial consolidation and reporting processes.
• Training & Documentation
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
• Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls (e.g., SOX).
  • Support audit and regulatory reporting requirements.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in Oracle Hyperion suite: Planning, Essbase, HFM, DRM, FDMEE, EPMA.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and enterprise performance management.
• Proficiency in SQL, MDX, VBA, and Business Rules.
• Experience with system architecture and infrastructure management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Hyperion consulting or enterprise financial systems.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Hyperion Planning Cloud Service) preferred.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale implementations.
