Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience building production software, ideally focused on rich client applications or editor experiences.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and React.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Add-ins, Visual Studio Code extensions, or similar embedded application development.
  • Deep understanding of real-time collaboration patterns and document manipulation.
  • A track record of shipping polished, user-facing features.
Responsibilities
  • Build and refine the Microsoft Word Add-in.
  • Improve latency, reliability, and micro-interactions in the product experience.
  • Architect the bridge between the artificial intelligence backend and the Word document model, including tracked changes and comment threads.
  • Ship playbook-driven reviews, clause libraries, and contextual drafting features.
  • Collaborate with the artificial intelligence team to integrate model outputs into the legal workflow.
  • Define user-experience patterns for artificial-intelligence-assisted contract work.
  • Build the product workflows that turn contract reviews into shorter processes.
  • Ship features that drive enterprise adoption.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Office.js or the Microsoft Graph API.
  • A background in legal technology, document automation, or contract lifecycle management platforms.
  • Familiarity with large language model integration patterns and streaming responses.
  • Experience using Cursor, Copilot, or similar artificial-intelligence coding tools.
