Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Professional Engineer licensure is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for solar and battery storage projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, power system modeling, and electrical calculations.
  • Create and review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze designs to ensure compliance with National Electrical Code, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, National Fire Protection Association, and North American Electric Reliability Corporation standards.
  • Stamp engineering drawings.
  • Provide mentorship and lead teams.
  • Contribute technical expertise to business development and proposals.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Internship or project experience in power systems or renewable energy is preferred.
  • Involvement in student or professional engineering societies is preferred.
  • Experience with electrical design or consulting is preferred.
