  • Ability to prepare weekly status reports and monthly project statements covering work completed, resourcing, financial status, forecasts, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to respond to key performance indicators to improve processes and workflow outputs.
  • Ability to support estimating and forecasting labor tools and resource-tracking best practices.
  • Ability to contribute to BIM/VDC process frameworks and support implementation of project management, VDC, and BIM software and tools.
  • Ability to self-check work and supervise less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
  • Manage overall VDC delivery from project start to finish.
  • Define the VDC scope and align deliverables with the operations team.
  • Develop project VDC budgets and resource plans, including estimates and weekly or monthly forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Recommend and direct the use of appropriate platforms to manage and collate project information.
  • Drive and manage delivery of VDC deliverables and serve as the VDC point of contact for operations teams.
  • Own the quality of VDC deliverables.
  • Drive and coordinate VDC workflows through design, construction, fabrication, and installation phases.
  • Direct VDC team members by assigning priorities for deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources to maintain sufficient team capacity for timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Leverage engineering and VDC constructability expertise as needed.
  • Coordinate with the technology team to ensure software and tools are available.
  • Coordinate with operations and leadership to identify and select project resources.
  • Drive accountability for VDC constructability, model management, preconstruction engineering, virtual fabrication, and prefabrication activities.
  • Gather construction and design schedules and key plan or work package groupings to develop VDC milestone schedules.
  • Communicate schedule changes and align deliverable deadline expectations with external parties.
  • Communicate VDC constraints and issues to operations teams and lead issue resolution, documentation, and communication to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and document potential change orders, change orders, and requests for information.
  • Develop and share weekly status reports.
  • Develop and issue monthly project statements.
  • Contribute to frameworks for evolving BIM/VDC processes.
  • Support implementation of new project management, VDC, and BIM software and tools.
  • Supervise less experienced team members.

Harris expands into Colorado through multiple strategic acquisitions. June 2, 2026 Harris has expanded its national footprint into Colorado through the acquisition of three companies serving the region's mechanical systems, controls and building automation markets. The move establishes a strong operating base for Harris in Colorado and significantly broadens the company's presence across the Mountain West. The expansion began with the acquisition of Colorado-based temperature controls company D.R. Associates (DRA), effective May 4. Founded in Denver more than 20 years ago, DRA has built a strong reputation for delivering dependable temperature control solutions tailored to the needs of Colorado businesses. The company serves customers across industries including healthcare, manufacturing and commercial facilities. Effective June 1, Harris also acquired Climate Engineering (CEI) and Centennial Controls (CCI). CEI and CCI bring complementary expertise in mechanical systems, HVAC solutions and building automation throughout Colorado. Together, the companies have supported a wide range of commercial and industrial projects across the region, helping customers improve building performance, visibility and operational efficiency through advanced mechanical and controls solutions. Their strong technical capabilities, customer-focused approach and deep local relationships further strengthen Harris' ability to serve customers across Colorado.
