- A bachelor's degree or college diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in general accounting or accounting analysis.
- Experience in an accounting firm or a multi-entity corporate environment is an important asset.
- Strong command of the complete accounting cycle, month-end and year-end closings, and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent spoken and written French.
- Very good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with accounting software and digital tools.
- Manage the complete accounting cycle rigorously for multiple entities in the network.
- Participate actively in monthly and annual closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, adjusting entries, and month-end files.
- Perform bank reconciliations, balance-sheet account reconciliations, and intercompany follow-ups.
- Prepare and support the production of financial statements and variance-analysis reports.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable financial standards.
- Participate in preparing annual audit files.
- Ensure data compliance and the accuracy of reports submitted to management.
- Collaborate closely with accounting-team members and head-office managers.
- Contribute to optimizing accounting processes, automating tasks, and improving tracking tools.
- Participate in financial-analysis projects and implement best practices within the team.
- A professional accounting designation (CPA) or progress toward obtaining one.
