Requirements
  • 15 yrs. Minimum Education/Experience: Must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in system migration, change management, knowledge management and/or management science experience required
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position
  • Duties shall ensure that work products are thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria
  • Work shall be conducted in CONUS Olympia, WA and travel up to 25% international
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • All staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization by the US Government Security Office
  • Security clearance eligibility is required
  • Experience using webinar platforms
  • Ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time - primarily internationally
Responsibilities
  • Gather Lessons Learned data and perform information system operational tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of the Lessons Learned Program
  • Recommend changes and updates for a more efficient Lessons Learned Program to meet mission needs
  • Interface with the client on a day-to-day basis
  • Support the completion of specific tasks of a project within estimated timeframes
  • Support presentations and client meetings
  • Develop and lead implementation of the Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis and Learning (IDEAL) knowledge management strategy principally focused on military theater operations support, retrograde and return supply mission areas
  • Collaborate with Knowledge Management Communications and other program staff to engage stakeholders in peer-to-peer collaborative learning
  • Lead updating and expansion of applicable KM Systems to facilitate real-time collaborative learning, reach a broader audience, and address design and user challenges
  • Contribute to the overall KM strategy of the program and enable team members and implementing partners to better capture, generate, apply and share high quality information on food security practices
  • LOE estimates cover Knowledge Management Technical Leadership and Support (Approx. 30%), Knowledge Management Event Management and Coordination (Approx. 30%), Adaptive Management (Approx. 25%), Administrative Support Services (Approx. 15%)
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading knowledge management and socialization activities for state and local governments
  • Demonstrated success managing and facilitating medium- to large-scale face-to-face meetings and participatory learning events
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience leading or participating in a project to develop or overhaul a program’s website and responsibility for keeping content current and relevant
  • Experience using webinar platforms
