The Opportunity
Join DAT as an Enterprise Account Executive - Supply Chain and be part of the innovative DAT iQ Shipper sales team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in logistics and technology sales to drive growth in the emerging market of DAT iQ for the Shipper category.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, within the Shipper category for DAT iQ.
- Employ a consultative, collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to influence decision-makers and senior executives in transportation, supply chain, and procurement fields.
- Independently operate in a sales role, focusing on customer & segment development and expanding a new business segment for DAT.
- Introduce prospective clients to DAT’s SaaS solutions, offering advanced insights into market trends and transportation pricing research.
- Navigate complex Enterprise Shipper organizations, building trust and demonstrating mastery of the industry as a partner in providing solutions that actively empower the customer and make their lives and businesses better.
- Build consensus across a broad set of customer stakeholders around ROI of DAT products & services, using a multi-tiered approach to provide insights and influence in the name of enabling the end customer with the tools they need to be successful.
- Ability to travel for industry trade shows, team summits and customer on-sites; Travel is around 20% of total workdays
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 8 years of Enterprise Sales experience in the transportation, brokerage, or supply chain software sector.
- Proven experience in outbound lead generation; a passion for identifying, nurturing and creating new Opportunities
- Strong grasp of a solutions-oriented, consultative sales approach.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
- Exceptional skills in outbound lead generation.
- Proficiency in managing a pipeline of prospects and driving them through the sales cycle.
- Confident in demonstrating software capabilities.
- Collaborative work style, cooperating with marketing, partnerships and sales teams on campaigns.
- Familiarity with sales reporting and tracking; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite; Tableau experience is beneficial.
- Understanding of the sales contracting process.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $100,000 + commission and benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
