Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and assist with pre-installation meetings.
  • Attend weekly client meetings with the Project Manager and maintain detailed meeting minutes for internal distribution.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager with project logs, including nonconformance reports, requests for information, and punch lists.
  • Draft, submit, track, and distribute requests for information; review requests for information, submittals, and potential change orders with the Superintendent weekly.
  • Pursue and monitor submittals, track material deliveries, and verify that submittals conform to plans and specifications.
  • Collect and distribute coordination drawings from subcontractors and review them with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Set up coordination meetings for the Project Manager to chair.
  • Assist the Project Manager and provide input on the master project schedule.
  • Review daily reports, force reports, and safety documentation and inform the Project Manager and Superintendent of deficiencies.
  • Review subcontractor change orders for the Project Manager.
  • Complete take-offs requested by the Project Manager for potential change orders.
  • Assist the Project Manager with contacting potential subcontractors and verify scopes of work before contracts are issued.
  • Work collaboratively with outside parties, including the design team, to accomplish client goals.
  • Keep field team members, including the Superintendent, informed and active in decision-making.
  • Review owner contracts and become familiar with commercial terms, staffing requirements, drawings, specifications, client milestones, and terms and conditions.
  • Identify long-lead items and the critical path and inform the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Provide support to field staff.
  • Obtain necessary permits as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Develop and manage the project submittal log, obtain designer approval, and ensure submittals are processed promptly.
  • Follow and enforce company safety procedures and policies.
  • Monitor work and information and organize time and resources efficiently under multiple demands.
  • Ensure materials are procured and delivered according to the project schedule.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Primavera P6.
  • Experience with construction management or estimating software.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
