Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree is required.
- Current licensure from the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board is required.
Responsibilities
- In cooperation with the referral source, provide care to individuals with orthopedic problems associated with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease processes, including involvement in developing injury prevention programs for athletes on the field and in the clinic.
- Participate in the rehabilitation process by performing a wide variety of treatment procedures consistent with orthopedic care.
- Keep the sports medicine physical therapist updated on how patients are responding to treatment and document this data as it relates to the goals of the plan of care when serving as a member of the physical therapy team.
- Provide care across the full spectrum of youth-to-adult outpatient orthopedic patients and physically active individuals.
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience is preferred.
