About the company

CAPS & Maple City is a nonprofit in north central Indiana that brings community health care together with child abuse prevention and family support. As a federally qualified health center, it runs Goshen clinics and a mobile clinic offering primary, dental and behavioral health care. Programs include home visiting from pregnancy to a child's fifth birthday, supervised visits and volunteer court appointed special advocates, supported by donors and partners. In abuse cases, one team can coordinate a child's forensic interview, medical exam and mental health referral. It formed in 2026 when Child and Parent Services, which had served families since 1976, merged with Maple City Health Care Center, and is headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana.
