Senior Construction Manager
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field is required.
- At least seven years of related experience is required.
- A Professional Engineer license or Registered Architect registration is desirable.
- PMP and CCM certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, and Oracle is required, along with business administrative skills including presentations, report and letter writing, and time management.
- The role requires communication and interpersonal skills, focus on delivering results, organizational effectiveness, continuous improvement, team-building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization.
- Review in-house technical designs for constructability in non-design-build projects.
- Monitor and/or audit third-party technical design and construction activities for compliance with contract requirements.
- Provide continuous construction oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Manage and allocate constructability review team members to project schedules and milestones.
- Document conforming and non-conforming work and progress on outstanding issues, verify corrective actions, and identify opportunities for corrective actions.
- A Professional Engineer license or Registered Architect registration.
- PMP and CCM certifications.
