Requirements
  • Ability to work 20-40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
  • Actively pursuing a degree in related area of study at an accredited university during internship
  • Candidates pursuing their Master’s Degree/MBA are preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Conducting policy and demographic research
  • Tracking relevant legislation and news impacting disability and healthcare related policy
  • Engagement with disability and aging stakeholders
  • Planning stakeholder meeting and conference participation
  • Reviewing and responding to Requests for Proposals, and collateral development
