Requirements
  • A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced and fluid environment with changing priorities is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a fulfillment or warehouse environment is required.
  • Strong attention to detail is required to ensure each medication is packed according to handling and storage guidelines and the appropriate shipping method is used.
  • A customer-service-oriented approach to work is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies and software involved with the fulfillment process are required.
  • The candidate must be able to assist pharmacists, Specialty Pharmacy Representatives, an inventory manager, and other staff with varied fulfillment tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The candidate must be able to lift and pull supplies between areas, remain on their feet for much of the day, and work with hazardous drugs.
  • The candidate must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds, with frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard use.
Responsibilities
  • Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with Jefferson's values.
  • Participate in the fulfillment process by accurately packing orders, including appropriate information and shipping labels, and following packing procedures based on medication type and delivery method.
  • Receive warehouse shipments and transport them to the appropriate area in the Specialty Pharmacy Fulfillment Center daily.
  • Assist the inventory manager and other personnel with receiving wholesaler inventory and stocking it in the correct location.
  • Assist with inventory review processes, including receiving, pulling expired drugs, cycle counts, and other procedures.
  • Interact with field service technicians, warehouse staff, and logistics staff to resolve delivery issues, receive incoming shipments, and address other circumstances.
  • Transport orders between areas of the Fulfillment Center.
  • Collect and sort shipments after the fulfillment process is completed.
  • Conduct cold-chain testing to meet accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure fulfillment supplies are stocked at each filling station and in appropriate back-stock locations.
  • Retrieve ice packs from the warehouse walk-in freezer and stock them at each packing-station freezer.
  • Assemble boxes and coolers for shipment.
  • Maintain the fulfillment supply status log.
  • Keep supply areas, shelving, and pallets organized, clean, and stocked.
  • Train others as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
