  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business.
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple-frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Ability to access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, reports and information.
  • Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders if needed.
  • Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, with reliable and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions where common allergens may be handled or present.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity and other elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to complete Food Safety Manager Certification and applicable Starbucks or Pizza Hut training or certifications.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver consistent guest experience commitments and create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
  • Ensure team members understand, are trained on and consistently deliver guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
  • Observe team performance, provide feedback, hold team members accountable and recognize strong guest experience results.
  • Review guest, financial and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take corrective action and align the team on execution.
  • Understand sales goals and plan and execute daily and weekly workloads involving merchandising, pricing, salesfloor display changes, sampling and promotions.
  • Lead an efficient, guest-focused Food & Beverage team in completing Food & Beverage Daily Standards walks.
  • Assess Food & Beverage and Food Service backroom and salesfloor areas daily, prioritize business needs, identify team workload tasks and review reporting for business trends.
  • Establish goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to them.
  • Partner with store leadership through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables.
  • Maintain a fresh, full and food-safe area through inventory management, area routines and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
  • Validate team members’ progress against assigned workload tasks, production area routines and best practices.
  • Lead execution of best practices and close skill gaps through development, coaching, training and team interactions.
  • Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends using store reporting and headquarters communications.
  • Develop and maintain vendor partnerships, ensure delivery and merchandising standards are met, and place store-initiated orders where applicable.
  • Stay current on relevant trends and products to educate team members.
  • Support hiring and onboarding processes for new team members and participate in team hiring and onboarding.
  • Support guest services including backup cashier, order pickup and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on applicable federal, state and local adult beverage laws and protect the store’s liquor license when applicable.
  • Lead the team in upholding Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and partner with the Starbucks district manager when applicable.
  • Attend required in-store planning and business meetings and follow up on key takeaways from the Starbucks district manager when applicable.
  • Demonstrate and enforce ethical conduct, safety and compliance standards.
  • Lead safety culture by modeling safe behaviors, correcting hazards, holding the team accountable, assisting with incident response and reporting or investigating injuries.
  • Model physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies, including ordering, storage and application.
  • Demonstrate inclusivity and create equitable experiences.
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Occasionally assume store-level leader-on-duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Address store emergency and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
