Requirements
  • Experienced in the installation of boilers
  • Knowledge of air source heat pumps
  • Experienced plumbing and heating engineer
  • Knowledge of heating system design and fault finding
  • Experience of reviewing and challenging technical specifications & mechanical drawings
  • Basic competency in electrical levels
  • Experience with hydraulic systems to design & quality standards - CIBSE & MCS
  • F-gas knowledge (optional)
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating pathway
  • Full, clean Driving Licence
  • WRAS Water Supply Regs
  • UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems
  • Gas safe certification
  • BPEC L3 or equivalent in heat pump installation
Responsibilities
  • Install low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Learn about new technologies and receive training in a state-of-the-art training centre
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Lead a team and be responsible for crew
  • Empower team to make on-the-fly decisions
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience
