Requirements

Graduate in Accounting or Commerce with at least 15 years of education.
Exposure to Accounts Payable areas such as invoice processing, travel and expenses or corporate card, supplier management, payments and recoveries, and bank processing and reconciliations is preferred.
Adhere to attendance schedules and established attendance standards.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of accounting functions related to Accounts Payable.
Report financial information accurately and on time.
Follow up with lines of business at the client end to close accounting open items.
Maintain data and records in accordance with accounting standards and principles.
Ensure adherence to published procedures, timescales, and regulatory authority.
Enter data accurately to provide business owners with quality analysis of expenses incurred.
Analyze and research discrepancies and open items, and resolve queries relating to payments.
Identify process inefficiencies and assist with process improvement activities as directed by the Supervisor.
Meet assigned targets in accordance with service-level agreements and internal standards.
Report performance, handle escalations, clarify concerns, seek support, and participate in monthly performance evaluation with the Assistant Manager.
Resolve issues left unresolved by the Assistant Manager with the Manager.
Handle process-related issues, queries, and escalated transactions with the Subject Matter Expert.
Provide associate performance feedback and conduct audits with the Quality Control Analyst to update the training curriculum.

Desired Qualifications

To ensure accurate data entry to provide business owners with quality analysis of expenses incurred
Analyze and research all discrepancies/ open items and resolve any queries relating to payments
Any other essential function that may occur from time to time as directed by the Supervisor to help to identify inefficiencies to the process and assist to drive process improvements activities
Ensure that the assigned targets are met in accordance with SLA and Internal standards
Ensure adherence to established attendance schedules
