Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering Modeling and Detailing
  • Extensive knowledge of Structural Concrete and Structural Steel Modeling and Detailing
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling and review tools, including Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership with demonstrated mentoring capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplines
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control systems for BIM projects
  • Familiarity with BIM execution plans, LOIN Matrix, MIDP, and other relevant BIM documentation
  • Knowledge of high-rise building systems and mixed-use building structures
  • Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate multi-disciplinary drawings effectively
  • Experience in setting up projects according to client and industry requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance and training protocols
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging BIM technologies and methodologies
Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate BIM processes for complex structural engineering projects, managing timelines and deliverables with precision
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control systems for all BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with project standards and industry best practices
  • Supervise and mentor a team of BIM professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages continuous improvement
  • Review and validate the work of CAD/BIM delivery teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications
  • Participate in cross-functional coordination meetings with Architecture, MEP, and Façade teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomes
  • Establish and maintain efficient job drawing filing systems and project documentation protocols
  • Coordinate closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural models with other building systems
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on BIM software, tools, and industry best practices
  • Develop and contribute to the continuous improvement of company-wide BIM systems, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety, quality, and training policies within the BIM team
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, implementing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and team capability
  • Set up projects according to client requirements and industry standards, establishing clear BIM execution plans and LOIN matrices
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organizational excellence and meeting all project deadlines
