Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science, or engineering is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, including owning a product roadmap and driving Agile processes, is required.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a high attention to detail are required.
  • Business acumen is required to identify opportunities, facilitate strategic planning, and use data and storytelling to influence.
  • The ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategy is required.

Responsibilities
  • Own the 12-month prioritized product roadmap and associated feature-level backlog, aligning the team around high-value business outcomes.
  • Research and identify emerging market and technology needs to influence the market roadmap and promote innovation and differentiation.
  • Use data to validate roadmap prioritization and proposed solution builds, ensuring that the team solves valuable customer problems.
  • Build deep business-domain, user, and client expertise to identify product and market opportunities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned product and market.
  • Apply artificial-intelligence-assisted tools and techniques across the Software Development Lifecycle, including discovery, research synthesis, opportunity sizing, roadmap planning, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Lead AI-informed product discovery by partnering with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, validate customer problems, and assess the feasibility, risk, and impact of AI-enabled solutions.
  • Oversee AI experimentation and prototyping to validate assumptions, measure outcomes, and inform roadmap decisions before full-scale investment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AI solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices and corporate policies.
  • Ensure that human-in-the-loop decision-making, explainability, transparency, and monitoring are considered in applicable AI-enabled product features.
  • Use data, analytics, experimentation results, and AI-generated insights to evaluate product performance continuously, inform prioritization, and optimize outcomes.
  • Document requirements as user stories, translating business requirements into technical requirements to create shared understanding with Engineering teams.
  • Validate product and Engineering artifacts, including requirement documents, build tasks, visual collaboration documents, and design documents, to ensure risks to value, viability, feasibility, and usability are addressed upfront.
  • Participate in annual and quarterly release planning, driving direction and prioritization for each quarter.
  • Execute time management and planning to allocate adequate time for work across discovery, requirements, design, and architecture in the product lifecycle.
  • Serve as product owner of the scrum team, plan team work, and resolve in-sprint issues.
  • Prioritize the roadmap and backlog using the product prioritization framework while balancing client and stakeholder needs.
  • Maintain the backlog by identifying escalated feature or bug requests and preparing them for upcoming sprints.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on requirements clarification and drive the team's refinement ceremony.
  • Perform functional testing and confirm sprint demos to ensure delivery of quality software.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to align on transparent strategic long-term roadmaps and deliver aligned product outcomes.
  • Partner with marketing and operations to provide market and product responses to requests for information.

  • Prior Risk Management experience is strongly preferred.

The updates include an AI Claim Summary tool, a Book of Business Transfer solution and an enhanced Pay-As-You-Go workflow. The AI Claim Summary uses generative AI to automatically extract and structure claim information, providing real-time overviews that update as records change. The updates include new capabilities for AI-driven claims analysis, bulk policy transfers and payroll-based billing, aimed at reducing manual processes and improving operational efficiency. The new AI Claim Summary solution uses generative AI to extract and structure claim data, providing a consolidated, real-time view of claim activity, including policy details, involved parties, loss events and financial information. The company says the capability is designed to help claims professionals manage high volumes of data, enabling faster and more consistent decision-making. Origami Risk has also introduced a Book of Business Transfer solution that allows insurers and brokers to move large volumes of policies through a governed bulk process, reducing the need for manual reassignment and minimizing errors and compliance risk. In addition, enhancements to its Pay-As-You-Go workflow enable policyholders to upload payroll data, review totals and apply balances within a single interface, while supporting underwriting configuration and improving data accuracy for finance teams.
