Requirements
- 12+ years of product management experience
- Experience leading a 5+ person Product team
- Strong design and product sensibilities
- Experience developing product strategies and influencing organizational change
- Experience managing the revenue of a sizable product-line or business
- Strong analytical decision making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated excellence in using principled decision making to manage diverse stakeholders, including peers and executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Responsible for bringing a Square-wide perspective for the Retail audience for strategic planning
- Creating 3 strategic horizons for near, mid, and long term growth
- Engaging with external partners for acquisitions and partnerships
- Accountable for business performance of the Retail audience
- Understanding the industry to shape GTM and Product strategy
- Prioritizing work for the product area and across Square products
- Validating product strategies through user research and experimentation
- Driving execution across multiple functions and organizations
