Responsibilities
  • Review equipment training videos and manuals to understand equipment functionality.
  • Communicate with customers, explain diagnoses and repairs, and ensure they are informed and satisfied.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on customers' equipment to reduce downtime.
  • Assist with installing large or heavy equipment.
  • Conduct on-location service calls within the Chicago market.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts and filters in the service vehicle to support first-visit repairs.
  • Shadow a Service Technician during the initial 45-day probationary period and receive hands-on training in equipment servicing, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and client interactions.
  • Complete one assigned training course per week during the first three months, including required training videos, assessments, and certifications.
  • Work toward maintaining a first-visit fix rate of 90% or above, measured through Tableau, with monthly performance reviews during the training and ramp period.
