Requirements
  • 0–1 years of professional iOS software engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
  • Experience shipping real iOS software to users through a live App Store app, production internship or job features, a substantial public iOS project, or a TestFlight app with actual users.

Responsibilities
  • Own features end to end, from product and design conversations through building, testing, launch, and iteration based on real usage data as part of a squad.
  • Build in Swift and SwiftUI, using UIKit where applicable, within an MVVM and Coordinator architecture.
  • Write view models, connect GraphQL and REST services, and ship user interfaces on the internal design system.
  • Ship weekly releases using feature flags, staged rollouts, and thorough senior-engineer code review for every pull request.
  • Work on consumer surfaces including job discovery, career events and fairs, and student profiles, including seasonal back-to-school periods.
  • Help build AI-powered experiences in the app and use AI tools in daily engineering work.
  • Write unit tests for view models and contribute to acceptance-test coverage.
Desired Qualifications
  • Consumer app experience serving end users at scale rather than internal or business-to-business tools.
  • Experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit and the ability to move between them.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, unit or user-interface testing such as XCTest, or continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling such as Fastlane.
  • A personal app currently live in the App Store.

At the heart of this push is the Codex Creator Challenge, a new competition announced by OpenAI Developers and powered by career platform Handshake.
