Requirements
  • Completion of Urology Residency.
  • Completion of Urologic Oncology Fellowship by the start date.
  • Candidates must have a strong history of academic accomplishment.
  • Must have or be eligible for a Wisconsin Medical License.
  • Must have board certification or board eligibility in Urology through the American Board of Urology.
  • Must be eligible for enrollment as a UW Health billing provider and all necessary hospital privileges.
  • MD or DO, or equivalent, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver state-of-the-art medical and surgical care.
  • Establish an academic program.
  • Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national professional meetings.
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
  • Work in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
Desired Qualifications
  • For appointment at Associate Professor rank on the CHS track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate Professor on the CHS track.
