Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
  • Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general purpose programming languages.
  • Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills; flexible and be a self-starter.
  • Agile, quick self learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver;
  • Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in building scalable, high-performance backend systems to support payment security, fraud detection, and compliance.
  • Support ongoing security and privacy initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization efforts to maintain system reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to the development of secure and privacy-aware payment solutions, improving the payment experience for billions of users.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant internship experience with hands-on exposure to the tech stack
  • A PhD in security or privacy is highly desired
  • Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
