About the Job

Requirements

At least 6 months of rail experience.
At least 6 months of manual tractor-trailer work experience.
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
At least 6 months of chassis and container experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
No major accidents or tickets within the last 3 years.
No driving under the influence (DUI) conviction within the last 5 years.
Must not be participating in a return-to-work program.
A medical certificate is required for application.
A complete four-page long-form physical is required for application.
A Social Security card is required for application.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required for application.

Responsibilities

Perform port and rail driving moves using manual tractor-trailers.
Work scheduled overnight shifts beginning between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Travel to assigned locations in Long Beach, Moreno Valley, Los Angeles, and other Southern California locations.
Perform drop-and-hook, no-touch freight operations.

Desired Qualifications

Hazmat endorsement or experience is a plus.

UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers
We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.

AM- shift
Monday - Fridays
11pm-1am start time
Averaging 10+ hours daily
The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations

Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week
Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.
