Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
- A Registered Nurse license in good standing without limitations in the State of Georgia is required.
- Certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse is preferred.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or other clinical specialty certifications for specific units, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
