  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
  • Provides Energy Technical Consulting services focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy Office of Policy; located in CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region.
  • Ensures accuracy and consistency of energy-related geospatial data for analysis and decision-making.
  • Conducts data quality assurance checks, identifies errors, and addresses data gaps for geospatial datasets.
  • Provides Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting and Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis and Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic and Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Supports mission objectives involving renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.
  • Aligns with Mapping Support Functional Area initiatives as a Data Quality Specialist that conducts data quality assurance checks, identifies errors, and addresses data gaps for geospatial datasets.
  • Provides Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Updates and validates geospatial data to support visualization and analysis of energy infrastructure.
