Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with knowledge graph technologies such as RDF, SPARQL, LPG, SHACL, OWL, graph query languages, schema design, ontology management, and knowledge graph curation is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in schema design, ontology management, semantic modeling, taxonomy management, metadata management, and knowledge graph curation is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and developing knowledge graph solutions and graph-based machine learning models across functional and technical contexts is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines for AI applications, especially large language model-enabled or enterprise knowledge applications, with hands-on design and configuration is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with relational databases, object stores, graph databases such as Stardog, Neo4j, or Amazon Neptune, and vector databases is required.
  • Hands-on experience building Snowflake-enabled knowledge engineering solutions using warehouses, Snowpark, Cortex and AI capabilities, Streams and Tasks, Native Apps and Streamlit, secure data sharing, governance features, APIs, and cloud storage integrations is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Python and SQL, with frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, dbt, SPARQL, SHACL, Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, APIs, and extract-transform-load pipeline development is required.
  • Practical experience with natural language processing or search techniques, prompt engineering, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, semantic search, and enterprise-scale AI application patterns is required.
  • The candidate must be able to formulate real-world problems into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and knowledge graph solution components on Snowflake.
  • Industry experience applying Snowflake-enabled knowledge engineering solutions in banking, insurance, healthcare, retail, communications, manufacturing, energy, public services, life sciences, or another relevant domain is required.
  • The candidate must be able to build Snowflake-based components for semantic layer, ontology, graph, vector search, search, retrieval, and large language model grounding use cases.
  • The candidate must be able to work hands-on as a strong individual contributor while collaborating across project teams and delivery workstreams.
Responsibilities
  • Design and structure knowledge frameworks that enable AI systems to reason and make informed decisions.
  • Capture and translate expert and unstructured knowledge into ontologies, knowledge graphs, and semantic models, ensuring accuracy and context for automation and insights.
  • Apply advanced analytics on knowledge graphs to drive problem-solving and actionable insights.
  • Build Snowflake-based knowledge engineering components using Snowflake warehouses, Snowpark, Cortex and AI capabilities, Streams and Tasks, Native Apps and Streamlit, secure data sharing, governance features, APIs, and cloud storage integrations.
  • Implement Snowflake semantic data pipelines, graph enablement components, ontology and schema pipelines, vector and search integrations, large language model grounding layers, and governed access patterns.
  • Build knowledge graph components that contribute to transforming a client's data architecture.
  • Design, develop, configure, test, and implement AI and semantic solutions that integrate with the broader enterprise system.
  • Work alongside project teams, delivery leads, engineers, architects, users, use case representatives, and user interface designers to deliver assigned components of an end-to-end solution.
  • Build working relationships with client counterparts on the workstream and communicate implementation progress, risks, dependencies, and technical findings.
  • Assemble supporting evidence for recommended semantic layer solutions, including design rationale, implementation notes, validation inputs, data quality observations, and test outcomes.
  • Support sales, solutioning, demonstrations, accelerators, or reusable assets by providing technical inputs or implementation examples.
  • Design, evaluate, maintain, and deploy ontologies, schemas, mappings, graph data models, metadata structures, validation rules, and knowledge graph components.
  • Continue developing skills in data and AI solutions, including agentic technologies, generative AI, large language models, multimodal models, semantic search, graph retrieval-augmented generation, and knowledge graph approaches.
  • Share learnings with the team and help junior engineers understand practical development patterns, engineering standards, and knowledge graph implementation practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud and data platforms, with Snowflake specialization and exposure to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform in multi-cloud environments.
  • Snowflake certification or hands-on project experience in Snowflake data engineering, Snowpark, data cloud architecture, or AI and data platform delivery.
  • Team lead exposure or readiness to guide junior engineers on project tasks.
  • External client-facing consulting experience, including work with client stakeholders, delivery teams, or solutioning teams.
  • Broad experience in diverse machine learning techniques, graph retrieval-augmented generation, agentic systems, semantic search, entity resolution, multimodal models, explainable AI, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience building reusable code components, implementation templates, design notes, demonstrations, proof-of-concept assets, runbooks, or enablement material.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Chalwin joins from Workday, where she served as CMO. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.
