Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Agentic Orchestration.
  • Experience operating Splunk or ELK observability platforms, including dashboard management, alert-rule configuration, metric-scraper troubleshooting, and log-pipeline operations.
  • Experience with Terraform operations, including plan/apply execution, state-file management, drift-alert response, module consumption support, and workspace administration across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Experience operating GitHub Actions and ArgoCD CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-health monitoring, runner management, deployment-failure triage, and GitOps workflow support.
  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault secret-lease monitoring, authentication-method health, cluster-status monitoring, and diagnosis of secrets-management failures.
  • Experience operating Xmatters, including on-call schedule management, escalation-policy configuration, alert routing, and integration health.
  • Experience monitoring LLM runbook pipelines, agentic ITSM workflows, LLMOps dashboards, token and cost anomalies, and AI-tool incidents.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash for operational scripting, API-driven tooling management, and alert-driven remediation workflows.
  • Experience with structured P1–P3 platform incident handling, ITIL-aligned change execution, post-change verification, and root-cause-analysis documentation in financial services industry environments.
  • Experience operating automated discovery tools, monitoring asset-record accuracy, tracking asset lifecycles, and reconciling configuration management database records.
  • A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain Splunk and ELK observability platforms, ensuring dashboards, alert rules, and data pipelines remain operational and accurate across infrastructure tiers.
  • Triage and resolve observability-platform incidents, including broken scrapers, missing metrics, failed log ingestion, and dashboard errors, within defined service-level commitments.
  • Create, update, and tune Alertmanager alert rules to reduce noise and maintain actionable alerting across infrastructure teams.
  • Operate ELK Stack or Splunk log pipelines, managing index lifecycles, ingest-pipeline health, and log-source connectivity for infrastructure platforms.
  • Execute observability-platform changes, including dashboard deployments, alert-rule updates, and retention-policy changes, following approved change-management procedures.
  • Maintain current, accurate, and audit-ready runbooks and operational documentation for observability platforms.
  • Manage Xmatters escalation policies, on-call schedules, alert-routing rules, and integrations with upstream observability platforms.
  • Support Jira and Confluence platform operations, including project configurations, workflow rules, automation triggers, and user access across engineering teams.
  • Monitor and support AI-augmented operations tooling, including LLM runbook automation pipelines, agentic ITSM workflow health, and AI alert-correlation services.
  • Support engineering teams using AI-augmented operations capabilities by triaging LLM-powered runbook execution issues, retrieval-augmented-generation knowledge-base queries, and chatbot operational interfaces.
  • Monitor LLMOps pipelines by tracking prompt-execution logs, model API health, token usage, and cost anomalies, and escalate degradation or unexpected behavior.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for recurring platform incidents across observability, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, ITSM, and AI tooling; document findings and drive preventive actions.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and compliance activities by producing platform-access logs, configuration exports, and change evidence for PCI DSS, SOX, and financial-services regulatory reviews.
  • Execute reliable platform-tooling operations so incidents are resolved within service-level agreements with accurate root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Communicate platform outages clearly and resolve engineering support requests promptly.
  • Execute, validate, and verify tooling-estate changes without unplanned impact, with documented evidence of completion.
  • Monitor LLM pipelines, agentic workflows, and alert-correlation services and escalate degradation before it affects engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate platform access records, audit logs, and configuration management database records for regulatory review.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini for triaging AI-tooling incidents and supporting prompt-execution issues.
  • Experience with Ansible or Chef for configuration-management task execution and playbook troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes operations, including Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service or Google Kubernetes Engine, to support tooling deployed on container platforms.
  • Familiarity with observability-as-code practices, including managing dashboards and alert rules as version-controlled configurations.

Accenture returned $39B to shareholders in five years as stock fell 57% from peak

Accenture returned $39 billion to shareholders over five years through dividends and buybacks, equal to 40% of its current market value. Despite this substantial capital return, the stock now trades 57% below its two-year high, whilst the S&P 500 delivered 82% total returns over the same period. The IT consulting firm generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the last 12 months, but growth has slowed to 6.7%, below the S&P 500 median of 7.8%. Management recently disclosed a $100 million revenue impact from Middle East conflict and delayed managed services contracts. Accenture is investing heavily in artificial intelligence and its new mid-market unit, Accenture Edge. The company's fourth-quarter results, due this autumn, will test whether these initiatives can offset slowing core business. The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 12.8, compared to the S&P 500 median of 24.4, reflecting market scepticism about future growth prospects.

Accenture vs Microsoft: Contrasting revenue growth as Microsoft hits $90B quarterly revenue

Accenture launched a dedicated mid-market business segment in June 2026, reporting a 13% net income margin for the quarter ended 31 May 2026. The global professional services company's revenue shows modest year-over-year growth, reaching $18.7 billion in Q2 2026. Microsoft restructured its senior leadership team in May 2026, adopting a flatter organisational framework for the artificial intelligence era. The company achieved a 40% net income margin for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, with revenue reaching $90 billion. Microsoft's quarter-over-quarter revenue increases significantly outpace Accenture's growth, driven by customer demand for AI offerings. Microsoft reported diluted earnings per share of $4.81 in its fiscal fourth quarter, up from $3.65 the previous year, demonstrating profitability alongside heavy AI infrastructure investment.

Accenture trades at 13.6x earnings after 35% stock drop despite strong 15.8% margins and $9B acquisition plans

Accenture trades at 13.6 times earnings after its stock fell 35% last year whilst the S&P 500 climbed, creating a steep discount to the market's 24.4 median multiple. The IT consulting firm maintains a 15.8% operating margin and generates a free cash flow yield of 11.9%, though three-year revenue growth of 4.8% trails the market median of 7.8%. The company disclosed a $100 million revenue impact from Middle East conflict and delayed managed services opportunities pushing into fiscal 2027. Management plans to deploy approximately $9 billion in acquisitions this year, including expansion into OT security. Accenture also launched Accenture Edge to target a $240 billion addressable market amongst mid-sized companies. The firm guided fourth-quarter revenue between $17.75 billion and $18.4 billion, with results expected to test whether current pressures represent temporary headwinds or fundamental business challenges.

Accenture launches AI hotel discovery app with Radisson across 1,000 properties in 100+ countries

Accenture has partnered with Radisson Hotel Group to launch @RadissonHotels, an AI-powered hotel discovery app within ChatGPT. The app allows travellers to search over 1,000 properties across more than 100 countries using natural language, then complete bookings via Radisson's website. The partnership demonstrates Accenture's application of generative AI and data capabilities to enable "agentic commerce", where trip discovery and decision-making occur through AI-driven conversations rather than traditional booking channels. Accenture recently announced a $2 billion share repurchase programme whilst continuing dividend payments. The company's narrative projects $85.6 billion revenue and $10.5 billion earnings by 2029, requiring 5.4% yearly revenue growth.
