- US citizenship is required.
- The candidate must have an active Top Secret or Q clearance or be able to obtain one.
- The candidate must have a BS degree in a software or technical-based field and at least 2 years of progressive software experience focused on data-oriented business applications, or 5 years of progressive software development experience without a degree.
- The candidate must understand the ASP.NET framework, Model-View-Controller, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, and design and architectural patterns.
- The candidate must have experience with microservice architecture.
- The candidate must have experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Aurelia.
- The candidate must have experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
- The candidate must have experience with Bootstrap, TypeScript, Node.js, NPM, and RxJS.

- The candidate must have experience creating web services from scratch and writing web APIs.
- The candidate must have experience with Git-based source control.
- The candidate must have organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The candidate must have English-language oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Refine requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, secure, and reliable code.
- Develop effective solutions for data mapping and data translation.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Develop unit tests.
- Participate in peer code review and code refactoring as part of the development process.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Serve as the technical lead for a development project.
- Produce technical and end-user documentation.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience with DevOps disciplines and toolsets.

Edgewater wins IT managed services contract with Argonne National Laboratory. Edgewater Federal Solutions has won a 5-year contract to be the IT managed service provider for Argonne National Laboratory. Argonne is operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC, for the Energy Department. The 1,500-acre campus employs over 4,500 people, including approximately 1,600 scientists and engineers. Under the contract, Edgewater will deliver comprehensive managed IT services to support Argonne's critical research mission across energy, environment, national security and STEM disciplines, the company said. "We are honored to partner with Argonne National Laboratory in support of its vital research mission," said Rodger Jones, Energy+ president of Edgewater Federal Solutions. "This award expands our footprint across the DOE's national laboratory complex. Our growing presence in this space underscores our commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and mission-focused IT services that enable scientific discovery at the highest level." Edgewater's services include service desk operations, on-site and remote end-user support, integrated IT and audio-visual services, and management of Argonne's ITSM platform to provide a scalable, flexible and resilient hybrid support model.
