Tako raises R$ 100M for payroll AI

Tako, an HR tech company focused on simplifying payroll, has raised R$100 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Ribbit Capital, with participation from a16z and ONEVC, who were also involved in the initial funding round last year. Co-founder Sebastián Mejía noted that the new funding came sooner than expected due to investors' proactive interest in the company's long-term plans.
