Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience testing Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and Insurance Suite application integrations, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Contact Manager.
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance, including personal and commercial lines.
- Experience with claims creation, first notice of loss (FNOL), reserves, checks, and other payment transactions.
- Guidewire Analyst Associate certification is required.
- Experience with manual testing in Guidewire Cloud projects, including upgrades or implementations.
- Experience in Guidewire automation testing, including use of the Guidewire GT UI Framework.
- Experience adapting testing standards and best practices.
- Experience assessing gaps between requirements and out-of-the-box functionalities.
- Strong technical skills in manual functional testing in a continuous delivery environment.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally, or similar tools.
- Experience working in an onsite-offshore mode within an Agile environment.
- Strong technical skills in non-functional testing in a continuous delivery environment.
- Hands-on functional knowledge of other Guidewire XCenters, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Contact Manager.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the client QA team and other client stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
- Collaborate with developers and the offshore QA team to understand system gaps and execute client requirements.
- Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
- Execute test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Test and validate complex business rules and workflows.
- Provide accurate effort levels and estimates for manual testing tasks.
- Use Agile methodologies to support efficient testing processes and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire Policy system testing and property and casualty insurance.
- Mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.
