About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in business systems engineering, systems administration, or integration engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience building and shipping automations or integrations that delivered measurable business value in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and at least one ERP platform; NetSuite is strongly preferred.
  • Experience deploying AI or large language model-powered automations in a production business systems context, or a clear, demonstrated trajectory toward it.
  • Experience working in a high-velocity environment while managing multiple concurrent priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Salesforce configuration, automation using Flow or Process Builder, Apex, and data model design at admin or developer proficiency.
  • NetSuite workflows, SuiteScript, SuiteBundler, saved searches, and data model, particularly for order management, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Hands-on experience with Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier, or comparable iPaaS platforms, including multi-step flows, error handling, and observability.
  • Practical experience with large language model APIs, prompt engineering, agentic workflow design, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
  • Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or Apex for automation scripting and data transformation; familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and OAuth-based integrations.
  • Strong understanding of business systems data models and integration patterns, including event-driven, batch, and real-time patterns.
  • Take responsibility for systems from reliability and documentation through stakeholder trust and continuous improvement.
  • Move quickly, iterate, and ship while maintaining reliability and data integrity.
  • Apply an AI and automation mindset, evaluating agent or large language model approaches critically before resorting to manual workflows.
  • Bridge technical architecture and business impact, ask clarifying questions, challenge assumptions respectfully, and earn stakeholder trust.
  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities, evaluate production readiness, and continuously improve GTM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI-powered automations and agentic workflows across the GTM technology stack, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, and MuleSoft, to reduce manual effort and accelerate operations.
  • Develop and deploy ClickUp Super Agents and large language model-based automations for deal data enrichment, quote generation assistance, order validation, revenue recognition triggers, and exception handling in quote-to-cash workflows.
  • Architect and implement Model Context Protocol integrations that let AI agents interact contextually and safely with business systems and enable intelligent, event-driven actions.
  • Explore and evaluate emerging AI capabilities, including retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and multi-agent orchestration, for production use in GTM business systems.
  • Build reusable AI templates, automation patterns, and agent blueprints for the GTM Engineering team.
  • Build and maintain integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, MuleSoft, DealHub (CPQ), and other GTM platforms using clean, supportable architecture with low technical debt.
  • Own end-to-end integration patterns for lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, order-to-fulfillment, and revenue reporting workflows.
  • Design data flows and transformation logic that keep business data accurate, consistent, and accessible across systems without fragile point-to-point dependencies.
  • Evaluate whether automation needs are best solved with native platform capabilities, iPaaS tooling, or custom code, and explain the rationale.
  • Build internal tooling, low-code/no-code solutions, and lightweight applications using Retool, Replit, or similar platforms.
  • Write automation scripts and data transformation logic in Python, JavaScript, or Apex to address gaps in platform tooling.
  • Use Zapier, Workato, and similar iPaaS platforms to orchestrate maintainable, observable, and well-documented cross-system workflows.
  • Own the full lifecycle of solutions, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Monitor the health and performance of owned automations and integrations; identify degradation, data inconsistencies, or failure patterns before they affect operations.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of integration failures or automation breakdowns and implement durable fixes.
  • Maintain runbooks and operational documentation so platform behavior is understandable and recoverable by the broader team.
  • Gather feedback from business stakeholders and improve automations for accuracy, fewer edge cases, and changing GTM processes.
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Customer Success stakeholders to translate business requirements into scoped technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with GTM Systems Engineering, DevOps, and BSA teammates on architecture decisions, intake prioritization, and delivery.
  • Maintain task hygiene, communicate proactively on large initiatives, and log AI and automation work in the team's AI Excellence registry.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in business systems automation and AI, educating stakeholders on capabilities and setting realistic expectations on scope and delivery.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with DealHub (CPQ), ClickUp, quote-to-cash workflows, or revenue operations systems.
  • Experience with ClickUp Super Agents.

About the Company

ClickUp

Builds one app for team projects, docs and chat

ClickUp makes work management software that puts tasks, documents, chat, whiteboards, and dashboards in one app, so teams can drop the separate tools they use for each. A built-in AI assistant reads a team's own tasks and messages to answer questions, draft emails and documents, and finish routine work without anyone switching apps. Teams plan projects in lists, boards, calendars, or Gantt charts, set up automations for repeat steps, and connect outside apps such as Slack and GitHub so updates land in one place. Customers pay a monthly fee per user, and higher tiers add more storage, tighter admin and security controls, and heavier AI use. ClickUp was founded in 2017 and is based in San Diego.
